October 25th, 2008 at 12:08 pmHi, hope I like this better than Flylady. Too complicated and I ended up working all day long and getting exhausted! I’d like to offer a suggestion. When coming to your site for the first time, I was looking all over for an instruction page. Like where to start, what to do and what to expect. How it works! Could you post a “getting started” page or box? I’m just blindly sending my e-mail addy here and hoping that’s the right thing to do. Wondering if I will get daily e-mails or what. Thanks for your effort to help people. I can used all the help I can get.

October 31st, 2008 at 2:11 pmDiana, that is a great idea, to have a getting started page. I will work on one, but I can’t promise anything quick. Depending on what your issues are (dirt vs. clutter, etc) you might want to look at the Cleaning 101 category or the Decluttering category. The Emergency Clean Sweep (linked at the top) is good if you have an immediate disaster to deal with.
When I add the Getting Started page, it will be linked in a tab on the top. Thanks for the suggestion!

December 7th, 2008 at 10:32 amLooks like I missed out on registration. I always come here when I’m drug down so far by my squalor that I can’t even function. Then I remember, I’m not alone and try to pull out of my isolation to at least read and feel I belong somewhere.

It seems keeping my messy house and paying bills takes all my time — and it has been that way for sixty years! Is that discouraging! I’m 83 and the only times I’ve had the house the way I want it are those very few times I have lived alone. Then I can manage. But I keep trying! Isn’t that the definition of insanity – doing the same thing and expecting a different result? Maybe this site will finally help, though it will probably be 15 min work and 1/2 hour rest/reward nowadays. But it is really nice to find company. How does one register for the Forum?
